Rockingham Oval Circuit Diagram


Rockingham Motor Speedway, officially opened in 2001 is an all-seater stadium venue with 7,500 seats in the Rockingham Building and a further 20,000 in grandstands around the circuit. The awesome £52m 1.5 mile oval has a maximum banking angle of 7.8 degrees and two of its four corners are used in the 2.56 mile International Long Circuit. It is the first purpose-built race track in the UK since Brooklands opened in 1907 and is set to revolutionise motorsport in the UK.

The circuit is driven anti-clockwise.

- Rockingham is the fastest track in the UK with average race speeds over 200mph.
- There are none possible circuits including the oval with up to three operating simultaneously.
- Unique to Rockingham, all circuits are fully visible from the main hospitality building.
- Representing an investment of over £52m, Rockingham is one of the largest private civil engineering projects since the Channel Tunnel.
- It has an 876 foot long main hospitality building which rises to 81 feet.
- There are 58 dedicated hospitality boxes, a 120-seat restaurant, a 120-seat conference facility and a public diner.

From the south end of the M6 at M1 (junc 19). Exit onto A14 East bound. Follow A14 east bound to junction with A43 Kettering. Exit onto A43 and onto A6003 towards Corby. Follow permanent and temporary signs to Rockingham Motor Speedway/Public Car Parks.
