Best Spots
As spectator circuits go, Thruxton is a bit of a strange one, with
only the top half of the circuit accessible to the fans. There's a
grandstand and some nice viewing of the Club chicane, and some raised
banking
around
Allard,
but other
than
that
the cars
charge
off into the countryside out of sight. This means that
those spectator areas are usually packed, so be
early
to
get a
place
near
the front
or pay extra for a grandstand seat.
Thruxton charge for paddock
transfer, but if you are willing to
pay,
there's additional viewing around the inside of Allard, in the pub
beer garden - stand on the tables to see over the barriers as the
cars charge toward Allard.
