Silverstone is the UK's premier motor racing circuit, playing host to the FIA Formula One World Championship and MotoGP amongst its top-level motorsport events.

The downside of the huge former airfield site, is that it does not offer as clear a view as many more contoured tracks so it is less than a perfect spectator circuit. It does however offer an exceptional range of races to watch. Ignoring the GP, Silverstone brings Le Mans Endurance Series, World Touring Car and FIA GTs as well as a world of Club series.

Best views: The complex around Priory and Brooklands provides a lot of slower corners for a great view, with regular offs. Some raised banking gets you above the fences for photos on the inside of Abbey. Excellent RallySprint circuit allows you to get up close to the action by the watersplash.
