Cadwell Park will be celebrating unique two and four wheel machinery from the past eighty years at the Vintage Racing Weekend on 19/20 June.
The festival begins on Saturday 19 June with a busy programme of historic car racing courtesy of the Vintage Sports-Car Club. The timetable will featuring an exciting mix of single seaters, saloons and sports cars spanning six decades, including a special trophy race for pre-1961 Grand Prix cars.
There will also be an event for 1950s Formula 3 machinery, which will include local competitor Richard Elligworth from Grantham in a Kieft F3 car, along with two outings from pre-1931 Vintage Racing Cars and a contest for 1950s sportscars.
The Vintage Racing Weekend then continues on Father’s Day (Sunday 20 June) with two wheel action from the Vintage Motor Cycle Club, which will showcase classic vehicles dating as far back as the 1920s.
Highlights include competition from pre-1958 sidecars, solo motorcycles from the 1930s – 1960s including Norton and Triumph machinery, Formula Bantams and a Morgan Three Wheeler Club Challenge race.
In addition to thrilling track action, paddock access is free of charge to spectators throughout the weekend to enable motorsport fans to take a closer look at the irreplaceable machinery competing at Cadwell Park.
