Formula Ford’s newest contender - and the first British-designed chassis for the new era - is taking shape in the Norfolk workshops of Southern International with design input from the Caterham F1 team.

Jamun Racing’s Scott Malvern is the 2011 Dunlop MSA Formula Ford Championship of Great Britain title winner after taking yet another race victory, his 17th of the year, on the Donington Park Grand Prix circuit.

Ford used the Frankfurt Motor Show to unveil a bold new 2012-specification Formula Ford car. It's the formula that has been an essential step in the professional racing driver’s career for more than 40 years and this all-new car for next season will have talented young drivers around the world eager to get behind the wheel to prove their mettle.

Following the successful supporting races at the Zandvoort Masters of Formula 3 event in the Netherlands earlier this month, the Dunlop MSA Formula Ford Championship of Great Britain joins the bill for another headline European event next weekend (3/4 September).
