Liberty X Enjoy Driving Fast at Rockingham

After playing to the 34,000 strong crowd at the Days of Thunder event last July, members of the number one pop group Liberty X made a return trip to Rockingham as guests of the circuit to try their hand at driving some fast cars around Europe's fastest race track.

Michelle, Tony and Kevin spent the day driving single seater race cars and a mouthwatering selection of fast road cars on Rockingham's combination of banked oval and infield racing circuits. It was an opportunity for the band members to take a well deserved day off from their hectic summer tour schedule and spend the day with friends driving some of the best cars money can buy.

"Rockingham is a brilliant set-up, looks great and there is a great selection of cars to drive", said Kevin with the other members of the group in total agreement. "You get such a buzz from driving fast and add the tracks and the different cars it makes a refreshing change from the pressures of touring."

"Rockingham is extremely pleased to welcome Liberty X back to Rockingham as our guests for the day," said Rockingham CEO Ashley Pover. "At the event last July they really had Rockingham buzzing during their live performance but with 34,000 people on site they didn't really get the chance to have a good look at Rockingham, so we invited them back to for an action packed day out with us."

The band is now looking forward to the release of their next single "Jumpin'" on October 20th and then a national arena tour in 2004 starting in Manchester on February 21st.
