Rockingham and BMW to offer High Performance
Experiences

Rockingham, Europe’s fastest motor racing venue and BMW, one
of the world’s most prestigious automotive manufacturers, today
announced an agreement that will enable Rockingham to offer a wide variety
of driving experiences using a range of BMW cars.
The new agreement, which comes into effect from1st November 2003, further
underlines Rockingham’s leading position in theUK’s driving
experience and corporate entertainment industries.
Rockingham will offer a variety of driving experiences using a range
of BMW cars, including the high performance M3 and 3 Series Coupe models,
the recently introduced Z4 roadster, and the exciting MINI Cooper S.
Additionally, drivers will be able to experience the off-road capabilities
of the BMW X5 on Rockingham’s purpose-built international-standard
course. The new experiences complement the Lotus Elise and single-seater
experiences already offered by Rockingham.
To offer a full range of different driving sensations, the experiences
take place across multiple track configurations, including the unique,
banked oval – the backdrop for Rockingham’s 170mph ‘Days
of Thunder’ racing series.
