World Champion Rowe Leads the Pack at BRC Live! with Hotbuggy

Anticipation is building for the 2004 Kwik-Fit Pirelli British Rally Championship, which bursts into action at BRC Live! on Sunday, 21st March. One of the star attractions is the current World Production Car Rally Champion, Martin Rowe, who will be thrilling the crowds with an amazing demonstration of the all-new World Rally Kart.

Taking a year out of the World Rally Championship, Rowe has taken on a promotional role for the Donington Park based HotBuggy Company.   Adding to the excitement of BRC Live, Rowe will bring visitors a fantastic display of just what the buggy can do demonstrating these lightweight single-seat, rear wheel drive Rally Karts which are powered by a 600cc motorbike engine.

"Martin is spectacular to watch in the HotBuggy", commented HBC director Paul Williams. "And if the effort it takes us to get him out of the kart so someone else can have a go is anything to go by he really enjoys it!

"The World Rally Kart is the perfect practice tool for any racer from any racing discipline. It has precise and sensitive handling characteristics, it is super fast, and will hone any drivers skills in readiness for the big race. It is also an all-out racing car in its own right!"

BRC Live! is going to bring the world of motorsport alive for a completely new audience, as well as hardcore rally fans. And it will be the perfect start to what is guaranteed to be one of the most thrilling Championships yet.

BRC Live! takes place on Sunday 21st March 2004 at the Bramcote Army Base, just outside Nuneaton, Warwickshire, providing families and rally fans with a unique and fun day out. Visitors can watch - and even win a ride in a rally car  plus have opportunities to talk to many of the competitors and teams. Newcomers and ardent fans alike will also gain a real insight into the contenders vying for this year's Championship crown. 

A fun fair and dodgems, covered grandstands, Pirelli rally simulator, Sony Games and military displays will provide supporting entertainment whilst VIP hospitality and a whole host of trade stalls will widen the appeal of the event to all the family.

Championship media sponsor, the Sun newspaper, is also providing Page 3 girls to bring that essential touch of glamour to BRC Live! They will hand out merchandise, such as Sun Scalextric cars and pose for photos with spectators, making it a day to remember.
