Record Television Distribution Figure for
the Kwik-Fit Pirelli British Rally Championship

Organisers of the Kwik-Fit Pirelli British Rally Championship have
revealed that global television distribution figures for the 2004 Championship
are the highest
ever. 2004 is already one of the Championship’s most exciting seasons,
but the latest figures from official TV rights holders, Greenlight TV, show that
the British Rally Championship is going from strength to strength as it secures
its place as one of the UK’s top motorsports events.
The programmes for the British Rally Championship will reach as many as 24 million
viewers in the UK alone, including the Channel 4 broadcasts showing BRC highlights,
as well as coverage of the Super 1600 and British Rallyzone. Motorsport Asia
will be aired in 36 countries, including ESPN India reaching 23 million viewers
and ESPN Asia reaching 90 million viewers in China.
Max Power is shown in 30 countries and airs in nearly 70 million homes pan-Asia.
And Motorsport Mundial brings BRC rally action to Channel 5’s 38 million
viewers in the UK and a staggering 60 million viewers on Speedvision in the USA.
