Holiday Inn SEAT Cupra Championship - Final
Showdown!
23 August 2004
The finale to the 2004 Holiday Inn SEAT Cupra Championship
takes place at Donington Park on Sunday 29th August (with qualifying
the day before). The two spectacular
SEAT races will have a big supporting race programme, with action from high-powered
single seaters, including Grand Prix cars.
Three drivers – James Pickford, Tom Boardman and Oli Wilkinson (above) – are
in contention for the Championship-winning prize of a works touring car drive
with SEAT Sport UK next year. The title will be fought out over two 16 lap races
on the National Circuit.
Around these races there is a high speed blast from the past with Group
C Sportscars and the Grand Prix Masters series, which brings together
various Grand Prix cars
built between 1966 and 1978. Adding to the fast flowing thrills will be a 48
lap race counting to the Euro 3000 Championship and the ever exciting EuroBoss
F1 series.
Qualifying for all classes is through Saturday, with adult admission £5,
and then on Sunday, when racing begins at 10.40, following earlier warm-up sessions,
adult admission is £10. Under 15s are free on both days, as is entry into
the grandstands. Tickets are available from Donington Park Racing Circuit, at:
www.donington-park.co.uk or by telephone on 01332 81 95 27.
