Formula Woman Moves Into Top Gear
14 January 2005
Formula Woman International are proud to announce their move to the
new “Formula
Woman Centre”
In March 2005 the Formula Woman Centre will open at Dunsfold Park in
Surrey,
well known to TV viewers as the home of the TV’s Top Gear. The Centre will
house not only Formula Woman international but also become the base for Club
Formula Woman and many of its training activities. On top of class room training
activities, there will also be the now famous test track, a skid pan area and
a go-kart track, as well as full workshop and preparation facilities for the
vehicles.
Dunsfold still houses a small working airport and is fast
becoming the motorsport centre of the south with many teams and manufacturers
based there to take advantage
of the excellent test track facilities. A spokesman from Dunsfold Park said,
"We
are delighted to be the choice for the new Formula Woman centre and look forward
to welcoming the many up and coming female drivers who will learn their skills
here."
Boss of Formula Woman Graeme Glew comments "We are very
excited about this new venture which will enable us to offer a unique
training centre for women’s
motorsport."
