Alan Bonner & Adam Sharpe Give the Aussie
Ford Falcon a Podium in European Debut

April 2005
XERO Competition's British GT driver Alan Bonner took to
Brands Hatch last weekend to join another regular British GT racer
Adam Sharpe to race in the newly arrived Ford Falcon.
The Aussie V8 muscle car was shipped from Australia and arrived in
time for the 2 hour Britcar race on the Indy Circuit at Brands Hatch.
Electrical problems and a puncture hampered the qualifying session
and the Falcon was placed 13th on the grid.
It was Alan Bonner who started the race and fought his way through
the field bringing the car into the pits in a magnificent 2nd position
overall, handing over to Adam Sharpe. Adam drove extremely well
and took advantage of a second safety car period to make to the pits
for a splash and dash, finally bringing the car safely home and a 2nd
placed podium on the cars first ever outing in Europe.
