Countdown to Oulton Park BTCC Begins as Season Heats Up!

09 June 2005

11 points separate the top three drivers in the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship as the season heads to Oulton Park next weekend 18-19th June.

Team Halfords Honda ace Matt Neal snatched the lead of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship from his team-mate Dan Eaves by taking a double victory on the Brands Hatch Indy circuit last weekend (June 4/5). VX Racing's French former champion Yvan Muller took his second victory of the season by winning the third race of the day.

Meanwhile, SEAT's Jason Plato had another solid weekend, with a second and a third among his finishes, and Northern Irishman Colin Turkington passed his Vauxhall team-mate Muller in race one to score a second place.

The championship visits Oulton Park in Cheshire on June 18/19, and fans are looking forward to another weekend of panel-bashing, hard-racing action. The BTCC will feature three times on the Sunday, together with six support races, a driver parade and pit walkabout.

MotorSportVision are offering a last chance to buy tickets at the advance price, and you can save up to £6 per adult by booking online. This offer ends midnight Monday 13th June.

Weekend admisssion is only £24 when booked online, a £6 saving over two on-day gate tickets. Additionally, raceday-only admission is only £19 when booked online compared to £25 on the gate. Children (12 and under) go free. To take advantage of these savings, call the Ticket Hotline on (0870) 950 9000 or book online at www.motorsportdirect.co.uk.
