ITV F1 To Give Away £35k Track/Race Car

27 September 2005

ITV F1 are giving away their biggest prize ever with the chance for one lucky viewer to win a fantastic ADR 3 car.

Viewers of ITV’s Japanese Grand Prix coverage on October 8 and 9, have the chance to enter the competition by phone or text message.

The ADR 3 is a new racing and track day car due to launch to the public at MPH 05, Earls Court, November 17-20, and will retail from £35,000.

ITV’s F1 reporter Louise Goodman will hand over the car and trailer to the winner in the Live Action Arena at the Autosport International Show on Saturday January 14. The lucky winner will also have the added bonus of a day at the track, with familiarisation laps from Le Mans driver, Phil Bennett.

The winner will be able to watch their car being built at the factory over the next few months and be able to specify details such as the technical specification and the body colour. The prize also includes the latest Brian James Trailer to allow the winner to transport the ADR 3 to and from the track and store the car on the trailer in a single car garage.

Adrian Daniels, managing director of ADR said, "This is a real opportunity for any motorsports fan to win their own racing and track day car to compete in or enjoy driving on the track.”

Gerard Lane, series editor for ITV F1 said, “It’s a fantastic prize for our viewers, one minute you could be sitting in your armchair watching Formula 1, the next you could actually be competing in races in your own car!”

For the chance to win, viewers need to correctly answer a multiple choice question and enter by phone or text message - watch ITV's coverage of the Japanese Grand Prix on October 8 or 9, or the Chinese Grand Prix on October 15 or 16.
