21 February 2007
UK Rally Ltd has announced the new look Rallymasters Series
for 2007, now incorporating classes for Production Group N4 and Formula
2 (two wheel drive) cars.
The production and two wheel drive categories supplement the format
which continues to welcome Group A and WRC machinery. More additions
to the series for 2007 are Gravelmasters and Asphaltmasters which offer
competitors an opportunity to focus their competition on their favourite
surface on some of the best of classic British rallies. The series
incorporates four national rounds of the Tesco 99 Octane MSA British
Rally Championship which features centralised servicing, city centre
starts and promotions adding to the great atmosphere and camaraderie
experienced by teams, competitors and their sponsors.
Free for competitors
to register, event organisers of the six round Championship have pledged
to give competitors real value for money offering an all inclusive
entry fee, so there are no extras other than insurance, offering further
value.
The soon-to-be launched dedicated Rallymasters website will provide
news, information, competitor profiles, championship results, press
and images and is expected online by the end of February.
