British Rally Championship Goes Live in Birmingham

Brindleyplace, Birmingham's award-winning leisure and business
destination will host the official launch of the 2007 Tesco 99 Octane
British Rally Championship on Friday 13th April 2007.
This vibrant and
attractive canal side City centre location will see teams and drivers
unveil their new liveries to the press and public a week before the
series' first round, the Pirelli International Rally.
"This city centre location is a perfect place to launch the new
season and we are delighted that Birmingham is embracing the Tesco
99 Octane MSA British Rally Championship in a joint venture promotion.
Over 10,000 people work or use Brindleyplace's shops, restaurants,
galleries and theatres and our displays and announcements throughout
Friday afternoon and early evening will create huge interest." said
Championship Manager, Mark Taylor.
Current British Rally Champion Mark
Higgins' new Stobart Teg Sport Subaru outfit and British Teams Champion
Dealer Team Suzuki GB with their new Suzuki Swift Sport will be on
public show for the very first time. Joining them will be Mitsubishi
Motors team line up of Gwyndaf Evans and Guy Wilks, Team TQ R-E-D with
former British Rally Champion David Higgins and Triple Eight Race Engineering,
who will unveil their new rally breed diesel Vauxhall AstraDs.
Privateer crews
will also be on hand launching their new season and sponsors. Early
confirmations have come from Citroën C2R2 Cup
Mid Wales driver Jason Pritchard, Telford's Nick Kenny and Silverstone
Stars competitors Richard Sykes and Matt Cotton.
