Regulations overview
- Rules as defined by the Monster
Truck Racing Association of Europe, MTRAE, state that the vehicle must
have a minimum weight of 9500lbs and wear 66x42x25 or 66x44x25 tyres.
Maximum engine size is 575 cubic inches (9.4 litres). Standard superchargers
are permitted. The truck name must appear on the vehicle.
Others rules mainly cover safety aspects of build and operation of
the trucks including required Remote Ignition Interrupt systems. Brakes
must be able to stop the truck in its own length at 10mph.
