Cupra Championship 2004
The SEAT Cupra Championship is aimed at developing up-and-coming British
racing talent, with a prize fund in excess of £600,000 including
a winning prize of a salary-paid works touring car drive with SEAT
UK
for 2005 - The biggest prize in British motorsport.
The 12 race one-make series will be held over seven weekends, with
the 'double-header' meetings running alongside the British Touring Car
Championship. Each SEAT Cupra Championship race will have a dedicated
qualifying session and a race distance of at least 30 miles.

Regulations overview
- All drivers use factory prepared,
identical 250bhp, 320Nm 1781cc 20v turbocharged Seat Leon Cupras. Cars
feature double intercoolers, and multi-piont fuel injection. 6-speed
manual transmissions are upgraded with SEAT Sport parts, auto blocking
LSD and ceramic clutch. ECU, turbo control and data logging equipment
is supplied and sealed by SEAT Sport. Cars ride on 8" x 18"
alloy wheels wearing Pirelli control tyres. Six dry and six wet tyres
are permitted per driver, per meeting. Car weight is approx 1050kg.
