Regulations Overview - The
series has its roots in the successful Lotus Motorsport Series, recently
the Lotus Road Sports Series.
The wider and more open
rules attract new manufacturers, new drivers and cars with new
types of engines. With four race classes, there is ample opportunity
to compete with a MSA compliant road production car, a road-modified
car or a full-blown race machine. British GT Cup Class cars
qualify for entry.
The Aston Martin Owners' Club is the organising
and MSA approved motor racing club handling all race entry and
race event administration.
With a wonderful
history of motor racing management, the AMOC race meetings deliver exciting
race programmes with exotic cars and celebrity drivers. Competitors
must register
for admission to the series.
With sponsorship and track-side support from
Yokohama, the racing field is further levelled as all cars run
on a wet or dry tyre of the driver's choice,
selected
from the range of motorsport tyres from this multinational organisation.
