BTRDA Clubmans Rallycross Championship
The BTRDA Clubmans Rallycross Championship, aimed at newcomers to the
sport and 'clubman' competitors, runs alongside most of the MSA championship
rounds listed above, with two separate rounds at Blyton, Lincolnshire.
Regulations overview - The
fairly unrestricted Supercar class cars have turbos, four-wheel drive
and average over 650bhp. They can out accelerate an F1 car, but are
capable of racingon tarmac and gravel surfaces. The modified class cars
are allowed only 2-wheel-drive. Modified cars have restrictions on chassis
and engine specifications making them easier and cheaper to build. Supermodified
cars have very few restrictions and to top cars in this class have around
400bhp per tonne.
