Series Overview - The FIA GT Championship season remains limited to ten rounds at the request of the teams. The events will retain the 500km / 3 hour race format and be branded at most events as the Supercar 500. The separate FIA GT3 European series, for vehicles closer to production standard under the GT3 specifications, will be contested over five rounds, four supporting the FIA GT Championship with a final round at Dubai.
